Meal prepping....
If you are like me you would love to hire someone to meal prep for you. I don't mind laundry or cleaning. Meal prepping is not my fav, but it is what saves me everyday on a crunch time schedule. It is worth all the grumbling and whining I do. Click here for some tips.

Smoothies for anytime of the day...
Chocolate Nut:
1 Banana
2 (or 4!) tsp. nut butter (peanut or almond, all natural)
¼-1/2 cup of coconut milk from a can
Water/Ice as desired.
Pinacolada:
1/4 can coconut milk from a can
½ cup pineapple juice
¼-1tsp of coconut extract
ice
Wellness drink:
1 cup chopped cucumber
½ cup frozen pineapple
½ cup frozen strawberries
¾ cup water or coconut milk
Orange Julius
Orange Julius
1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology

1 cup water
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 small orange peeled
1/2 frozen banana
ice
Blend and drink away!!

Crockpot Chicken and Spinach
I can not survive without my crockpot, especially in the summer time. It is convenient to throw it in and hit the pool and not have the house overheat from the oven. This is a great recipe for the family. Try it out and let me know what you think.
Ingredients:
5 chicken breast halves (frozen)
8 ounces sliced mushrooms (canned, drained)
2 TBSP Olive oil
3 TBSP onions (dried) or fresh
1/2 tsp garlic powder
10 ounces spinach (frozen and broken into pieces)
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp nutmeg

Directions:

Mix spices together in a small bowl and sprinkle over chicken

Break spinach into pieces and place in crock pot
Add mushrooms, drained
Cook on low for 4-5 hours or until chicken is cooked

3 mashed ripe bananas
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 cup egg whites (I use egg white international)
1 Vanilla or Chocolate Shakeology(optional)
1/3 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1 TBS cinnamon
2-3 tsp rum extract (optional)
1 tsp vanilla
1.5 tsp baking powder
Vanilla stevia or sugar substitute (optional)
Mix together and cook on 375 for 18-20min
Makes 24 muffins

Strawberry shortcake oatmeal
- four strawberries cut up
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/2 cup fage 0% yogurt
- 1 scoop of strawberry shakeology (protein of choice will work as well)
- mix together
- add vanilla stevia or any natural sweetener of choice
